At a very young age I began to use food to control my emotions.

This cycle of binging and starving carried on for 25 years. I didn’t know how to be at peace with food it was all or nothing for me if that makes sense?
In my teenage years, I also learned about laxatives and sticking your fingers down your throat to get rid of food. I then developed bulimia, it started out sometimes doing it after overeating but later even when rationing my food I’d do it also.

Worse than all of this those was the mental obsession. Years, months, days and hours I spent thinking about food. 

Scheming and planning what to eat and when or worrying and stressing about what food was going to be given to me and how could I avoid eating it or beating myself up after I had eaten and being overwhelmed with guilt and remorse. Sound familiar?

I wanted to learn the secret of not thinking about food. I wanted to feel love for myself and body. I wanted to be free from emotional eating and my bulimia and anorexic patterns.
